WORKSHOP ON ABACUS IN SCHOOL

A workshop on Abacus was organised on 6.9.2013 and introduction with numbers was done using master abacus kit.

Celebrating Teacher's day in school

The students of class XI came and played the role of a teacher and took the challenging task sportingly.

MATHS ACTIVITY

The students learnt multiplication using sticks.

All the students brought sticks and learnt how to multiply two numbers by criss - crossing the sticks.
Say, for example to multiply 5 and 2 , the students placed 5 sticks vertically and 2 sticks horizontally on them.
The number of points at which the sticks meet i.e the point of intersection will be the product.
